This class covers how to fully use your web browser which is the foundation for all other classes. You will learn about the features of the major web browsers. Viruses are no longer the major threat they used to be. Instead, we investigate the major types of internet  scams, how to identify them and how to avoid them. We also will show you how to clear the Tech Support “Computer Lock” screen and stop pop-up notifications. Next class: 6/20/2026 1:00 p.m.

We explain the various types of accounts. How the username and password protect your account and suggestions on password creation. We will teach how to set up and use Multi-Factor Authentication to keep your accounts secure. Next class: 6/27/2026 1:00 p.m.
